John L. Casalena CPA/ABV/PFS,BVAL,CFE,CDFA
John has a varied background including COO and CFO positions and a traditional CPA Practice for wealthy individuals. Currently his sole-practitioner practice is limited to M&A, Family and Business Dispute Resolution and Litigation Support. His Litigation Support retentions include Mediation and Arbitration; Examiner with Trustee Powers for The US Justice Department; Receiver for Lenders and Expert Retentions for Business Valuation, Forensic Investigation, Damage and Income Calculation.
John is an author of published articles on Med/ValTM and Personal Goodwill and Covenants Not to Compete in AZ. Also he is a columnist for Best Life, a national magazine for men where he is known as The Great Communicator. He presents on the subjects of Mediation, Collaborative Divorce, Taxation in Divorce, Personal Goodwill and Covenants Not to Compete for National Conferences of The AICPA, IBA and NLSS as well as The State Bar of Arizona, PESI and many other organizations.
In addition to being Collaborative Divorce Trained he has completed extensive training and received Certificates in Business & Divorce Mediation from Notre Dame and Pepperdine Law Schools as well as training on Business Mediation and Arbitration from AAA.
Sheila A. Yammer, CPP
Sheila has an extensive background in Accounting and Finance. She has spent the last 9+ years as the director of Payroll with the Phoenix Suns and the Arizona Diamondbacks. She is also responsible for the accounting for both her husband's trucking company and her family's restaurant.
Sheila is a graduate of Rutgers College in New Jersey. She received her MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management. Sheila was a charter member of Ultimate Software's Client Advisory board and is currently spearheading the effort to form a Sports Team User Group. She has also been featured in an article in PayTech magazine. In the past, Sheila was featured in an ad campaign for Ultimate Software. She is a member of the American Payroll Association and serves as a member of APA's Payroll question Hotline.
In her spare time, Sheila enjoys volunteering as a coach and mentor for several youth sports groups. Sheila is also preparing to enjoy her 6th year as a Red Rock Fantasy Participant, where she and her husband create a Christmas light display at Los Abrigodos Resort in Sedona.
Yvonne Chase
Yvonne is employed by Mayo Clinic Arizona as a Unit Manager in Patient Access. She has been with Mayo Clinic since 1997, providing leadership and support to employees. Yvonne has experience in the health care administration field since 1981 employed with Maryvale Samaritan Hospital and Phoenixville Hospital.
Yvonne has an MBA in Business Administration from Western International University. As well as serving on the Board of Safe Harbor she has also served on the Board of the United Way. She is currently actively involved with the Foundation for Blind Children and the Juvenile Diabetes Association. Yvonne enjoys her volunteer activities, as well as spending time with her family.
Paulette C. Compton, RN, MSN, MC
Paulette Compton has been a health care professional for over thirty years. She is a psychiatric / mental health nurse with experience as a psychotherapist, hospice counselor, psychiatric staff nurse, mental health clinical specialist, and eating disorder therapist. Her undergraduate nursing degree is from the University of Maryland; graduate nursing degree is from Catholic University of America; and graduate counseling psychology degree is from Arizona State University.
In addition to her clinical work, she has been a nurse educator in baccalaureate nursing education programs and is presently the Director of the Boswell/Mesa CC Nursing Education Program in Sun City, Arizona, which is a partnership between Mesa CC and Sun Health. The program is part of the Maricopa Nursing Education Program in Phoenix.
Paulette has always had a special passion for hospice and was co-founder of Safe Harbor Hospice in Las Vegas and Phoenix and worked in several other hospices. She especially enjoys working with the grieving family members of the hospice patient. She met Karla Whelchel, Safe Harbor President, working in hospice.
Paulette has a special fervor for reading and photography. She frequently donates her photographic work for Safe Harbor fundraising.
